Dr. Ahtisham Shakoor established Chandler Cardiology Associates as Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiologist.
Dr. Ahtisham Shakoor completed his residency and fellowship training from the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. He was Assistant Professor at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in the Division of Cardiology/Internal Medicine.
He then moved to Arizona and joined Arizona Heart Institute and completed his interventional fellowship at AHI and stayed on as faculty.

He is currently Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. He is Director of Chest Pain Center at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and Chandler Regional Hospital, and member of several hospital committees. His area of interest is preventive cardiology and ways to improve the development and progression of coronary artery disease.
